Not Everyone Should get a trophy
It is not our job to make the world a perfect place for our kids to do whatever, whenever the hell they want!
I am tired of the “everyone gets a trophy” society that we are in these days.
Children need to learn that life is not fair, that sometimes life sucks, and that if they want something they have to be prepared to work, and work hard for it.
The effort, Pride, determination, appreciation for one’s things, failure, being a good loser and a gracious winner. These are all things that we should be emphasising to our kids.
