This is a very informative article from an engineer about what it takes to build and manage an effective engineering organization. This guy was part of the team that took FB to where it is today, from a small group of engineers to over 200+ that are cranking out the code that makes FB work…..so the short of it is that this guy knows his stuff….in the intro he says that he leaves out some of the obvious “things” , that we already know and tried to focus on some of the lesser known things that others might not pay a ton of attention to……
